Ok, just for the sake of saying I did it, I'm updating. I have actually updated twice since May 11th, the computer just froze up and lost EVERYTHING I had written...of course. It's getting to where my luck is just so bad that I've given up on being angry or blaming anyone or even myself for it, I just smile and think to myself "This is God's way of pointing his finger and laughing". Hey, I'd be laughing too. Well I went to Riverfest with Lizz, Chad, Clint, Marilea, and David....of course if you haven't already heard about the Riverfest incident then I'm sorry but it's just too late to relive it. That was the weekend school was officially over, but I was done with school 4 days before it was official. Chad went away to Boys' State and came back just in time to visit me and Marilea at the SAT test center on the 5th. Work became an even more non-stop effort because Florida was coming up and I needed some cash on hand. So Friday June 11th Mom, Marilea, and I packed our stuff and loaded up JoAnn's car. We went to FuLin's before going to the airport where my fortune cookie actually said "You need a change in your environment. Go on vacation." That's a keeper. So we went for 10 days- parasailed, rented jetskis, got tattoos, etc. Marilea and I flew back alone and I got a hammock- a wonderfully comfortable GORGEOUS hammock- as a welcome home present. I started working again.....saw a few movies like Stepford Wives, The Notebook, and Dodgeball. Daniel and Chad and Christopher all went away to Governor's School for 6 weeks when I left for Florida. Haven't had much contact with them other than emails because cellular devices seem to be working into the whole God-pointing-His-finger-and-laughing situation. *Sigh* Ohhh the irony. It's been raining a lot lately but the thing is, the lakes are all low but the river is high......things that make you go "hmmmmm....*thoughtful look with forefinger to chin and eyebrow raised*". Ok, it's time for me to go and be productive. Until we meet again....
